Little Rock Athletic Club redefines itself as health club leader in the region.
The Athletic Clubs is the parent company for a regional network of high-end health clubs in central Arkansas. Despite consistent revenue of over $10 million a year, new ownership felt there was growth potential.
Their leadership’s desire to grow, plus the imperative to maintain market dominance in an increasingly competitive category, led The Athletic Clubs to hire Thoma.
Thoma worked with the ownership and key club personnel, as well as members and prospects, to understand the unique attributes of the club and its place in the consciousness of the region. These insights served as the foundation for a brand “re-launch” that was rolled out at all four of their locations.
The campaign, which included print advertising, outdoor advertising, direct mail, public relations and a complete rebuild of all four websites, has proven invaluable to the organization.
The creative work has garnered significant recognition by the marketing industry, including the Arkansas chapter of the American Advertising Federation bestowing “Best of Digital” honors for The Athletic Clubs websites.
